‘Voprosy psychologii’ (Psychology issues) magazine has first contacted StarForce in 2004 because of the necessity to protect CD issued by the magazine against unauthorized copying. Our magazine was established in 1955 and has been the only scientific magazine on psychology in our country for a long time. The magazine has many subscribers and is one of the magazines from the list of State Commission for Academic Degrees and Titles (publications in this bulletin are necessary when defending a thesis). The main task of the magazine is to acquaint readers with modern research in various fields of psychology. Electronic archive of all issues of the magazine for 20 years (1986 – 2005) has been released in 2006. The archive has a retrieval system that allows finding necessary information among issues, surname of author(s), scientific terms and subject headings (or their intersections), surnames of scientists discussed in an article or whose scientific views are discussed. Starting from 2001, ‘Voprosy psychologii’ magazine together with Scientific Research Institute for information technologies of Moscow State Academy of physical training have issued similar discs for five, eight, ten and fifteen-year periods. CDs with issues for 15 and 20-year periods have been protected by a program from StarForce. This has increased the level of sales of two last issues.

Today ‘Voprosy psychologii’ magazine together with Scientific Research Institute for information technologies of Moscow State Academy of physical training begins issuing materials not only about psychology, but also about human health. The first issue of the ‘Medicines made out of plants’ electronic encyclopedia is to be released on CD soon.

During the preparation of scientific materials the copyright materials and personal archives have been employed, and many sources have been investigated as well. At the same time we tried to preserve the unique author’s concepts about the effect and the receipt on medicines made out of plants. Certainly, it was important for us to protect our transactions against unauthorized use.
