StarForce Technologies operates with respect the data, received from users, and provides its maximum security.
If users want to trial our products and services or ask questions via our feedback form we ask for personal information, like your name, email address, telephone number. We need this information to contact you and answer your questions or open an account.
Also we use information collected from cookies and other technologies, like pixel tags, to improve your user experience and the overall quality of our services. For example, by saving your language preferences, we’ll be able to have our services appear in the language you prefer.
When verifying the legitimacy of the use (activation) of protected applications, documents, audio and video materials, including StarForce Reader to open protected documents on Windows, macOS, Android and iOS, our servers collect information about operating system version and the user’s IP address. This information is available in the client’s account. During activation our servers also collect device-specific information: unique computer parameters (processor model, etc.) or mobile device (IMEI, etc.), but we get it as a result of one-way hash function computing.
This means that although we can distinguish one device from another using this information, the initial values of the device parameters are not known to us.
How to revoke my acceptance to operate personal information
If you want StarForce Technologies to remove your personal information that you have passed us via email, telephone call or some other way, please send us an email to email@example.com and we will remove it in 10 days.
