StarForce Technologies, the leader in software solutions to protect digital content against unauthorized copying and sharing, announces the release of StarForce Reader, an application to view protected documents on devices with Apple macOS. This new version is now available together with applications for Windows, Android, and iOS.

The StarForce copy protection solution is designed for corporate customers and publishers who plan to distribute documents over the Internet efficiently and conveniently. Using StarForce's solution, access rules for documents can be managed, even when a document leaves the enterprise's perimeter. To achieve this, documents are converted to a special file format which can be viewed only with StarForce Reader, an application that is reliably secured against analysis and reverse engineering. Like a number of other PDF viewer programs, this application is available on the Internet for free.

At the moment the StarForce solution is used on two online services to protect documents against unauthorized copying and sharing. They are SFContent.com and SFLetter.com. The first allows to use flexible settings for access management and digital fingerprints to detect the source of leakage. The second, SFLetter.com, combines email (including corporate email) and document protection functionality. Both services have free trials.
